Easy steps
Register
-
Register with us for free. Just click register now (above) and ask us to email you an application form.
Application form
-
Our application forms are extensive. This is to ensure we know everything we need to know about you and the job you will be happy in
-
One of our consultants will be available to talk to you and help you with your form
-
We will talk to you on Skype, if we have not done so already, and go through your form with you
-
Then we will match you with suitable hosts to ensure we find the right job and home for you, as well as matching your compatibility, outlook in life and common interests, where possible
-
Your application form will be sent to suitable hosts for consideration
Interview by phone or Skype
-
When a compatible host has chosen you from your application form, you will be invited to telephone, WhatsApp, Facetime or Skype with them
-
We will send you suggested interview questions and guidelines
Interview face-to-face
-
After your first interview, if you and your host think you are compatible, you will be invited to meet
-
This is a valuable opportunity for you both to exchange as much information as possible and to get a “feel” for whether it is a good match in terms of expectations and chemistry
-
Occasionally, this stage is carried out by Skype
Confirm your placement
-
Once you have been selected, your job offer and confirmation will follow
-
Both parties will be sent guides to hosting/being a companion
-
You will be sent a contract from your host for you to sign.
-
Some jobs can start straight away.
Keep in touch
-
Once the placement is confirmed we still care about your Home Help Companion experience. We will send you both a comprehensive welcome pack, including invoicing or payroll information and other helpful information. We are here every weekday to help for whatever reason during the home help companion placement period.
